Rian

I love to play football and ski. When it's above 70 and there's no football practice, you can find me fishing in the bay, hanging out with friends, watching the Patriots, or playing with my dog Star.

Mission:

Hi, I'm Rian. I live in Jamestown and attend high school with Jack and James who have been my good friends since preschool. Starting in our CCD class on Sundays after church, we have grown this into something great! Each year, when the project is completed, it's so rewarding to see the children's smiles when we deliver the baskets to them. I look forward to it every year!

Update, I am now a sophomore at Boston

College and still

a part of OJR.

Jack

I love spending time with my close friends and any sort of water activity whether it is going to the beach or going tubing on a boat. I love the Celtics, Patriots, and every Boston/Atlanta sports team and try to never miss a game.

Mission:

Hi, I'm Jack Ryan. I live in Jamestown and attend La Salle Academy in Providence, RI with James and Rian. We have all known each other since we were 2 and have stayed close ever since. When Easter is just around the corner, the process starts. We plan who is responsible for what, who we are delivering to, and how much they need. We then collect donations, pack pails, and plan delivery. Being able to see the final product that will be opened by the kids on Easter morning is just amazing. I can't wait to see how much this continues to grow.

Update, I am now a sophomore

at URI, still on the OJR mission.

James

I love to play tennis and see my friends and family. I also enjoy spending time outside, whether it be skiing in the winter to swimming or boating in the summer. Fan of all Boston sports teams. Travel to Maine in the summer.

Mission:

Hi, I'm James Grace. I live in Jamestown and go to La Salle Academy with Rian and Jack. All of us have known each other since preschool, and since Jack Rabbit was started in our CCD class I have been on board ever since. I love being able thelp Rhode Island children in need. I am excited to see how much this project has grown and look forward to it every year!

Update, I am now a

sophomore at the University of Virginia, still supporting OJR.

Our Volunteers and Families

Thank you to Pamela D'Orsi for letting us utilize your shop and for your guidance. You have been a mentor and an inspiration. Also, thanks for showing us the way forward throughout this project.

Thanks to Nancy Spirito and her family for packing pails and

supporting with preparations every year. We can't wait to continue working with you for years to come.

Thank you to the La Salle Academy staff and the volunteers at St. Mark's Church for helping us. At La Salle, we thank Geoff Marcone for approving and helping us organize the football volunteers. Thanks to Campus Ministry, including Mr. Camp, and President Brother Dennis, for the continued support.

Thank you to the volunteers and families that help us every year. OJR requires all hands on deck and we want to say thanks to those who donate their time and money helping us give back to the community. We also want to thank this year's past and new volunteer groups: The La Salle Academy Football Team, URI Delta Zeta Sorority, and St. Mark's CCD.
